How I Got off the Diet

and Weight Loss Rollercoaster

and Made $1000 doing it!

My name is Jessica Palmer. And this is my story of a 20 year battle with weight loss that I finally won after learning “the secret” to being thin. Not only that, it put a $1000 in my pocket! (I will tell you about that later…)

I Wasn’t Always Big…

I am 36 years old, and have been fighting my weight since I was a teen. The weight did not come on all at once – I was 5”6” and 140 pounds in high school. Not a supermodel by any means, but just a little full figured!

In college, the weight started to come on. I put on another 20 pounds, and started to look big. It started to effect my social life and how I felt about myself – boys weren’t as asking me out as much. I wrote it off to them only being interested in one thing, and it wasn’t my brains or personality.

My senior year, I decided to do something about it.

The Beginning of the Weight Gain…

The year was 1992, and Low carb dieting was back in favor. Dr. Atkins had just re released his famous book, and I bought in. Bacon, beef, and heavy cream were my friends! Fruit was the devil! I lost 30 pounds in a matter of months, and looked great.

Then, that fateful Thanksgiving day came were I decided that I should be able to include some carbs in my diet (who could pass up my families home made sausage stuffing anyway?).

Within 6 months I had gained back all my weight, and 10 pounds more!

Diet After Diet Fails Me…

You name it, I did it. Juice fast, the Master cleanse (lemon juice and maple syrup – yuck!), Protein Power, South Beach diet, zone diet, raw diet, ugh! I tried them all. During this time, I met John (love of my life), and had three beautiful kids. Now, life is not an excuse for gaining the weight, but it sure does give you lots of distractions to look at besides yourself! At 35, I had found myself after over two decades of going up and down at 210 pounds – tired – feeling bad – and, yes… FAT!

When you back has a spare tire, your in trouble!

Me at 210 - When you back has a spare tire, your in trouble!

I Was Desperate and Fed Up…

If you are still reading this, then you probably have been where I have been. Sad. Depressed. Not sure what to do. Convinced you have tried everything and it failed. Wondering if you are going to be overweight forever. If it is in the genes.

I know, I have felt it all. Then one day I saw something, and had a moment of clarity.

My Body Was Different…

I am real science geek. Not typical for a woman, I know. I graduated with a degree in mathematics, so I have always been very research oriented. A friend of mine from college had gone on to be a doctor who was following some ground breaking research into insulin resistance. (there are 100’s of studies, here are 20 of my favorites). Apparently some people are not designed for the high processed, calorie world we live in. 20% can deal with it (your skinny friends), 60% are okay with it, and the other 20% have reactions (that’s me). Over time, my body has to use more and more insulin to store what I eat. The more insulin in my system, the fater I would get. In fact, the common symptoms for insulin resistance are:

  1. Fatigue.
  2. Brain fogginess and inability to focus.
  3. Low blood sugar leading to feeling agitated, jittery, moody, nauseous, or having a headache is common in insulin resistance, commonly with rapid relief once food is eaten.
  4. Intestinal bloating.
  5. Sleepiness.
  6. Weight gain, fat storage, difficulty losing weight
  7. Increased blood triglyceride levels.
  8. Increased blood pressure.
  9. Depression.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it! Well, once I knew what was happening, I looked for the answer.

The “Secret” that turned my life around…

Okay, I admit it. There is not secret. I had to start making some healthier food choices, and exercising. If that was enough though, I would not be writing this blog post. As soon as Insulin Resistance was diagnosed as a disorder, new supplement research has been going on that can help level the playing field in a world where perfect choices are not always an option.

After countless hours of internet research, I came across White Tea with Acai.

What I found out got me excited…

Apparently, White Tea and Acai when combined have a powerful effect on Insulin Resistance. Basically, I have a traffic cop in my body (you have one too) that is tied to my blood sugar levels. The higher the blood sugar, the more the traffic cop tells my brain to make insulin and store that sugar. That’s why diabetics have to take insulin – too much sugar in the blood can actually kill (I never looked at a donut the same way again!). I ordered some White Tea with Acai, started working out, and began to moderate my bad food choices. I did not over restrict my food, just controlled the portions. I mean, a life without chocolate cake – whatever!

I was transformed….

When I first got White Tea with Acai, I was a bit taken aback. Only having to take one type of pill at a time seemed to simple. After years of mixing, matching ,etc all sorts of nasty powders and taking different sizes of pills, this was going to be a snap. I opened it up, pulled of the freshness safety seal, and took two of them. Total time – about 6 seconds. No way it was going to be this easy!

In the first 7 days of using White Tea with Acai – something amazing happened. I was able to wake up in the mornings without an alarm clock, and felt energized before my first cup of coffee! And, all the sudden my appetite was under control. I just wasn’t hungry. It is a lot easier to follow an exercise and diet program when you are not starved and exhausted! What will you feel like in 7 days?

I really felt like that silly energizer bunny on TV – I just kept going, and going, and going….

Within 14 days, the weight started to come off – 10 pounds to be precise! The really great thing was that I felt good. How much weight will you lose in 14 days – 5,10, 15, 20 pounds?

How about that $1000 dollars I was talking about earlier? Well, that is the really cool thing. The manufacturer is also offering $1000 for before and after pictures and testimonials (they are also offering $250 if you just want to give a written testimonial) I sent mine in, and was selected!

$1000 to Lose Weight

$1000 to Lose Weight

Well, after 8 months and 3 days of White Tea with Acai and a sensible diet and exercise plan (meaning one that a mom of three could do without going crazy!). I have lost 73 pounds! I now weight 137, less than I did in high school! I feel amazing! It is literally as if the old me was a bad dream, and I finally woke up. It feels so good to be able to shop for regular clothes, and have the energy to play with my kids. My husbad is pretty happy as well ;-) . In fact, he started taking it and also dropped some unwanted weight, about 20 pounds, without changing his diet (guys really suck sometimes!!).

Here is the link to the product I used. There are other products out there, and I am sure they are just as good. But since this is the one I took, it is the only one I can recommend. The manufactuer is currently running a 14 day trial. I am not sure how long they are going to run the trial offer – that’s just their way of getting the product introduced to the market. As more and more people have success and popularity grows there will be less of a need to do that as supplies will run low! The manufacture only uses the freshest ingredients from specific tea farms, so when its gone, its gone until next tea season! Once you order with them, you get preferential treatment for ordering more. So if they run low, they hold back enough for existing customers before selling any new stock.

I hope this story inspires you to find that beautiful body inside. That perfect shape for you is in there – just let it out – you will feel so much better when you do!
